Roles & Responsibilities
This information helps both of us work together smoothly and respectfully.
Your Therapist’s Role
I will:
• offer a warm, non-judgmental space
• listen with patience and respect
• guide you with gentle, evidence-informed methods
• keep your information private
• explain what we can and cannot do
• stay within our scope of practice
• tell you honestly if another type of support might help you better
Your Role as a Client
You agree to:
• attend your session on time
• speak openly and honestly at your comfort level
• ask questions if anything feels unclear
• follow agreed safety steps (if any)
• understand that this is not a crisis service
• understand that we do not guarantee results
• share changes in your feelings so remedies can be adjusted
Shared Responsibilities
Together, we will:
• set session goals gently
• check in about how you’re feeling
• adjust treatment or methods based on your comfort
• make space for questions, doubts, and concerns
• work at a pace that feels safe but steady
Not a Crisis or Emergency Line
If you are feeling unsafe or in crisis, please contact:
• your local emergency number (112 in India),
• a trusted doctor,
• or a nearby hospital.
